Company

Local ownership with large-project capability.

DLM Contracting has built heavy civil work from Bozeman since 2002, pairing experienced field leadership with the kind of planning, communication, and follow-through complex sites require.

What sets DLM apart

Integrity and proficiency are not taglines here. They are how the work gets run.

Contractors are easy to find. The difference is whether the company can understand the owner's goal, respect the limits of the site, and deliver the finished result without losing sight of ethics, safety, schedule, and quality.

01

Integrity

Clear expectations, honest communication, ethical change handling, and a long-term view of every owner, engineer, and agency relationship.

02

Proficiency

Field knowledge built through subdivision development, utilities, water and wastewater work, roads, earthwork, gravel, and demanding public projects.

03

Accountability

DLM keeps leadership close to the work, so decisions about equipment, crews, subcontractors, and site constraints stay connected to the end result.

Built for real constraints

Small-business attention. Heavy civil range.

DLM is locally owned and relationship-driven, but the work has never been limited to small scopes. The company has managed complex civil construction for private owners, developers, municipalities, federal agencies, and public land environments.

  • Budgetary design review through final plat and closeout
  • Construction management for crews, suppliers, and subcontractors
  • Agency coordination with DNRC, FWP, Federal Highways, DOT, DEQ, Bureau of Reclamation, Army Corps of Engineers, National Park Service, and others
  • Competitive field execution across underground utilities, water treatment, roads, earthwork, ponds, gravel, and dewatering

DLM's mission is to safely complete each project with proficiency and in a timely manner, while promoting integrity within our industry.
